One Of Many

One Of Many

We are one of many vessels,
Moulded from earths life clay.
Wise teachings soon discovered,
All to guide us on our way.

Crafted by the Potter's hands,
Pieced together with loving care.
Gifted with a beating heart,
And a soul to always share.

We will stumble we will fall,
But determined to venture on.
Life's journey long and winding,
Arriving in a new lights dawn.

We are vessels oh so fragile,
Of human form all impressed.
Return to Him we are destined,
In His hands each soul at rest.

Hi Shaun, did you write the poem about two dead boys got up to fight? I memorized that poem in the late 80โ€™s/1990/91 in grade school. Just wondering when it was written. Great poem!

ย Thanks,

Max its always a pleasure and I'll try to put a WW2 poem up soon or maybe a war related narrative poem.
I have a few older , dark poems, ones I might put up tomorrow called The Quest and the other is called Pandora's Jar Part 1 of 2 both are really visceral and dark supernatural narrative adventure poems.
And really need to wrap up Archangel Trilogy for good for Tony Taylor.
I'll see what's in my scribbles and personal message you tomorrow to let you know, just been out of the poetry picture for a while.
But all is now good.
Thanks again Max and kind regards good sir.

And will finish off that Archangel Trilogy dedicated to your good self in sooner time rather than later and when fully wrapped will send you a personal message before upping it.
