One Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words

One Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words

One picture is worth a thousand words, but I’d like to say just a few;

About the heartfelt love that you both shared, your little Brother and dear you!

When I look at this precious photograph, with the two of you at play;

It sends shivers up and down my spine, for the beauty it displays!

You are standing right on top of him, with a little impish grin;

And he is laughing so hysterically, a big smile upon his chin!

If love can be personified, it is captured in this shot;

The “Brother Soulmates” fast at play, such pure emotions caught!

You left us eighteen months ago, we cry for you each day;

Mommy, Daddy and your little Bro’, so sad since you went away!

But this photo brings us untold joy, and sweet memories from our past;

And our love for you will never die, forever shall it last!

Oh my darling Larry, that photograph is just so beautiful to see and it helps me too, because I simply treasure them so much. Your words brought tears, but they are simply tears of joy my darling. To see those two little treasured sweethearts so happy and obviously having so much fun is just breathtaking. What a simply wonderful surprise this piece is along with the photograph because it has really cheered me up so much, I adore them both just as much as I adore you both too sweetie.

Well done for another simply beautiful work of art my darling.

Big hugs

G xx

Hi Dear G,

While I was on my trip, Linda unloaded some boxes from our storage bin that we recently closed out.  In one of them she found this photograph that I have used to illustrate the poem.  When I returned and she showed it to me, it hit me very hard.  It threw me into a tailspin of dejection pining for the beauty that once was.  I am so petrified that Cody is getting near to the same age as Nico was when we lost him.  I, like you, find great solace in writing these poems.  Sometimes, I feel like I'm inundating my site, and should have a wider variety of works.  I have a very heavy poem I have written for Tuesday August 16th, which will be exactly 18 months since we lost him.  I have made up my mind that I am going to delve into many more subjects, although, of course, always write one or two a week about my Nico.

All my love,

xox Larry

Try not to think about losing Cody my Larry, just concentrate on the here and now and make the most of every second that you have with him my darling. You are giving him great love, happiness and security and that`s what he needs from you, and that`s what he`s giving you too. Nico doesn`t want you to think about what`s ahead, he just wants you to enjoy what you have with Cody now and that`s what really matters my darling.

I love you

G xx
