One sided

One sided

I hate it
that I have
Come to
The realization
That our strong
Bonded friendship
Has always been one sided

Just a car salesman
Conning a peer
Into believing
self interests
we're not
Front and center
To intent

So I am saying
Goodbye today
Though I am
Talking to
A shadow
Of a ghost
That was never
really there.

I need to stop
this passionate
dialogue
When there
Are no ears
To hear
