Poem -

Only Currents

We’re kindred souls; and shall never meet again: we part
With chemistry; and dine with sorrow; and soar with joy.
I venture a lotus—her smile; and she never smiled. Life is
Business: a series of events: a continuum; and love—is

But a duty, even a chore. When does pain break: it’s quite
Subtle: born to outwit—a lambent touch; and she climbed
A mountain: a gender war; and closed her eyes: a wealth
Of faith. What’s the plight of woman: so many politics; and

Gridlock tropes; and where is love:—a month ago; and
Where is heart:—a swimming seal. A poem paints a partial
Portrait: a series of projections; but such posture: such
Stern, even militant posture; and geared to fly: a torch and
Flame; and last to cry: an inner voice. I send a soul—a sky
To warm; and send a volt—a ghost to swarm.
