Only hold an expiry date

Only know her when they want something,
Only think of themselves and not that rotting occurring inside.
And they can't even see it,‎
No, they don't want to see it...
All that she is is nothing but something that has its expiry date on.
They whine, cry and put those puppy eyes when they need something from her.
After they get what they want, they only inflict self blame on that poor helpless soul.
Criticize, shout at and not to mention treating her like an expired product...

She stresses  them, she is a good-for-nothing-two-shoes...
Like big chunk of rotten meat, they don't see that it's because of them that she is dying inside.
Comfortable in her own space is all that's been decided for her,
For alone is all a valuable product can be itself,
With no tags and no expiry date when it's just a lone dog...
However when she's around them, she's  only a lost puppy... seeking love and protection not knowing it's sending itself to its own grave....
Yet it knows that all too well it seems so brave,
Brave enough to hold all responsibility because it's always at fault...
With flaws and claws that only hold pain, scars and deep dark open wounds....
And they can't see it, 
No, they don't want to see it...
That this poor helpless soul wants to run away forever,
Disappear without a trace,
Where it will no longer hold an expiry date to its brand!
Be with its creator and leave this inhuman world...
