“The Only One for Me” (Inspired by Brian McKnight)

So much to love you, my soul to die. I cry the pearls, alive—

The fall. You speak a riddle: I collapse; and death to life,

Our resurrection. Inform the wind, something’s dying; and

Dear the God, I love the flame. We bond—the light; and

Storm the truth; and yet and still, a distant heart. Such the

Culture, a rising tear; and conscious love, a mountain

Prayer. The face is gold: God is near; and thus, the glory.

I’m so afflicted, my flighty love; else the soul, a mile afar.

And you die—to live—a life—a vision bleeding. I admire

Such strength, a well of thorns. Imagine love, our beating

Minds; and feel the hurt, a spoken word. Dance, my mystic

Flower, excite the gods; for depth the soul, a force of flame;

And light to wave, the ghost of love. Indeed, the pain, a

Journey curt; and thus the heart, a wooing storm.
