~ OPHELIA MISUNDERSTOOD ~

~ OPHELIA MISUNDERSTOOD ~

To be so misunderstood, with an infatuation for love
The powerful men of her world, had not a clue,
Leaving Hamlet himself,
Wondering,

When the queen announced suddenly, she had taken her life
From the whisperings to a willow tree's branch,
For she was certainly, " incapable of her own distress."
She fell from the willow and drown in the brook
After all, she had to wear her necklace of rue
Her regret, so amazingly misunderstood
Absolutely, nothing left, for her to do...

At her funeral, the Queen,
Sprinkled flowers upon her grave,
"Sweets to the sweet"
Was all,

Liliana of the ...

The lady of the lake.
The representative of all the troubles she wanted to wash away from the world. And her life experiences.
Powerful writing.
Sorry if I guessed the wrong history lady.
