Fairy's and Griffins and Pegasus Wings

Through the scented eyes and the serious souls of those that lay in wait
I remember it like yesterdays soft snows here and their dotted debate
Snowmen everywhere and you all down on your knees
Begging for scraps for little dragons and fairytale wings
Cyclops running toward plain purple wishing wells and waterfalls
The oldest of the Narnian Kings roaring oh so thunderously
When on the wings of Griffins and sword wielding Dartag'nans
The princesses letting their hair down for prayers of Hallelujah
And diamond cutters on the fastest winged horses with Pegasus wings
Where singing and screeching bringing magical beings
For the timing is right for Judas and Bathsheeba the only old forces
Whose confidence can foresee the coming of old testament prophecies
And old fools on the hill with domino tiles and bats eyes for spells
The party is over with Unicorn  horns and little girls curls
Something is bringing the end of the world
So down on his knees the little boy cries
For the only men able to act out act five
For whom the bell tolls
Is not you and I
But options on faith
So bravely we pray
For forgiveness
From sin
Save us
O Lord
we accept
Him....

My 10 year old grandson Reuben asked me to read this one to him and he loved it T` he said it was better than Harry Potter!! How`s that for a compliment and from such a lively, young and very enquiring mind too. G xx
