Orchid

I walked into a flower shop one afternoon. The lady behind the register said "sorry sir we're closing soon". I looked around to see if anything would catch my attention. A single beautiful Orchid caught my eye's retention. Out of all the countless flowers there this one stood out the most. As I got closer there was a strange silence that was broken in my mind by the song Unchained Melody like in the movie Ghost. The Orchid looked so delicate and fragile like handcrafted glass. I knew it needed my loving and caring hands to make sure it would last. I knew immediately everything that I had to do. I can't even imagine everything this beautiful flower has gone through. I picked up the Orchid and brought it to the register. There was no price so I told the lady it doesn't matter what the expenditure. She looked at me and said "It's free, I can't put a price on how much you're admiring that Orchid". I couldn't believe that with this beautiful delicate flower I had been awarded. I brought it home and I knew exactly what she needed all along. She needed a gentle touch, she needed support and my love to make her strong...
