ORDINARY DAYS
When I say that you are special
It`s not just a throw away phrase
That I use to lift your heart
On ordinary days.
It`s because you simply mean the world to me
Each and every day throughout the year.
It`s because my heart just bursts with pride
Every time that you come near.
We are two special bonded souls
You are the other half of me.
And forever will be too
It`s plain for the world to see.
The purity of your being
And all the thoughtful things that you do
Keeps a smile on my face
Where it has a permanent home
And my life simply shines with you.
