Susan you're way too kind to me, you make me feel a touch of humility just about, lol... honestly I thought the poem was pretty good myself, or at least good enough to post...I really appreciate your encouragement my friend...you know I respect your work greatly, no bs...thanks again
CHERIE!!! YiPPIE! (is it woopie?, not so good with writing down sounds) Glad to be back as my old odd and goofball self....bless your heart for saying these things, yes the picture is nice; and standing on the top of a mountain looking down into the valley at sunset or sunrise on a beautiful day is where I get 'most' of my inspiration...okay I made that up, :D... it could come from a smile or the barking of dogs, even cats meowing I really have no idea where inspiration comes from...to be honest I was just wondering myself; notice I ended with a question not an answer...but like I was telling my friend Susan in a message; I tend to go along with the Ernest Hemingway approach; live you life hard and fast, and to the fullest, then sit and write about it (just avoid his end) my vision is to hopefully live to be an old man, and spend my days writing stories and poems about my experiences...but every once in while I can find the time to reflect...hey I like your recent stuff...thanks for comments they are like verbal hugs, much appreciated
yes thanks again, I'm def. working on that Marilyn Monroe painting, but it's big 3' x 2' and what can I say, her face was flawless, amazing is the experience of painting her, goes beyond words somehow...I'm def. working on it though and I'm slow, really I consider myself more of a sketch artist than a painter, but painting is lot of fun when I have the time...surprised you remembered lol...will do with the posting part
Lovely write Christopher, i often ask the same question
always receiving my own answer ( feelings & thoughts ), and what better way to express them , this was beautiful to read, love to you nardine xx
Go Leafs go, Colin (and Raptors, and Blue Jays too eh) thanks brother, sorry about late reply glad you liked and all the best in the new year from the north side of Brampton on this slushy Jan evening at 10:39, been a leaf fan since 1975 bye the way, lol; seeking counselling...later
Lol Colin, I was in Brantford last weekend, will be there again on Sunday to help out my wife's cousin put up some drywall, home of Wayne Gretzky and Alexander Graham Bell; weird or what? shout out to Steeltown! Cheers Colin...I know Andy Frost very well; 'voice of God indeed' lol
Colin, hockey is a great and passionate game and if the Leafs ever won anything this city will explode with joy and rapture lol, isn't that odd about Brantford though? The birthplace of two legends, and yes you're probably right Gretzky is probably better know than Bell at this point; I blame cellphones and computers, A.G. Bell changed the world, Gretzky got traded to LA, lol
wolf first I just have to thank you for stopping me from jumping, lol...been an awe-full morning my brother from another muther, and you just brightened mine a great deal, I'm a small business owner taking a business course and being forced against my will to write a business plan without the aid of templates or any real professional help; it's maddening and I will stop now lol, love Lennon my friend...hey good to hear from you, hope all is well...Lennon and the Beatles never get old, in fact the music inspires more and more with each listen with all the layers; impossible to understand that kind of gift...glad you like the inquiring write wolf, I may or may not have a thousand voices, but I do have a million questions rattling around in the brain, believe me...thank God for poetry or I might just spontaneously combust...hey I've probably heard Jose Feliciano's version of I want to hold your hand, but I'm gonna check it out right now...hey wolf I mean it man, I truly appreciate your message, your great and unique work, but most of all your friendship; we are not aimlessly drifting; at times I forget this and become discouraged...cheers brother, thanks again
