Poem -

Orison

Stand and watch a dying sun
Over an already dead horizon
Watch the seas give up their dead
Enveloped in the calm of tidal drowning
Eyes shimmer in holy glow of eventide
And every word of prayer is cast into the wind
May they surface through your skin
A benevolent dermographia
And may they bleed out from your eyes
When you shed your tears
For those whose ashes lay beneath your feet.

Your words carry much kindness, sir. Thank you so much for the praise and recognition, it means a great deal coming from one so skilled in the art of words, as yourself. Keep carrying the fire. And stay awesome. :)
