Our Destruction

Our Destruction

We were wiped out by our own necessity and our own destruction.

Our pollution turned against its masters until we began to bend to its will.

The nuclear weapons were used and there was no stopping our own demise.

Our division only unified us in death.

The technology we worked so hard to build, failed us.

And our unified forces were destroyed by the spark of nature that we had killed so long ago.

Our race was forsaken by our creation and our world began to fall.

It was the end, and it was our fault.

As a species we built nations and borders.

We built yogurt shops and military bases .

And it all fell with us, not surviving our other creations.

Our waste, our weapons, and our futile attempts to abandon nature.

The ignorance of our species brought upon a doom that cast a shadow over our entire race.

The human race.
