Our Escapism

Our Escapism

Aww I’m just looking at those daffodils they are blowing in the breeze
In clusters of clumps underneath my cherry blossom trees
Oh my goodness how pretty you are
Mother Natures florabunder
Springtime’s memoirs
On a mad March afternoon how you cheer me up as I walkabout in my garden sipping tea from a cup

You put everything in perspective for me little flowers
with your bright yellow petals and yon pleasurable powers
To hell with todays uncertainties
you have washed them away from me
Mother Earth is brimming with vast visuality
No matter what is before us and what lies ahead
My dazzling daffodils will still shine in my flower bed

So as I look all around me with the sun shining in the sky
I thank Mother Magna she will never ever die
Her forever changing seasons bring us hope and love
Something one can rely on from the heavens up above
She is constantly, clandestinely watching over us as we hear her winds with the bees that buzz
Our escapism from bothersome blight as she carries on a perpetuum of natura’s delight
