Our Flame

We shopped nightly; and dined every meal. Such beauty, a
Moment keen. Her thoughts were silver, a Wiccan queen;
We set fire to magic. I reckoned myself a warlock: my ego
Torn; and fajita love, a weekly dish. So much would pass
Our eyes; and we would cry the injustice. We stood neck
To sun; and moon to chin. I exaggerate; but life—so purple;
And love—so red. My birthday: unlimited feast. I was
So shy; and so alert. I spent a modicum; and begged forgiveness.
She smiled my joy; and loved my heart. I sipped—a blue
Ribbon: she toaked—a grey chant. Her eyes—a rainbow: a
Hint of spyglass; and glaring light, changed the color. We
Daily touched; and daily grinned. So much to speak of love;
And thus, the grey; and thus, the flare. Our words spoke
Physical; and we died the flame.
