Our Friends Joanne and Snickers

Just a stones throw from our front door, live quite a frisky pair;
We spend lots of time together, a true blessing to have them there!
We oft dog sit for one another, Snickers and Cookie, the best of pals;
And Joanne keeps us laughing, she’s quite a feisty Gal!

Tonight we celebrate at her house, she’s making dinner for Christmas Eve;
Then we’ll open lots of presents, that secret Santas chose to leave!
We’ll sing some Christmas Carols, and toast to Old Saint Nick;
With our puppies sitting beside us, wetting our faces with kiss licks!
