Let's keep our America Beautiful...
It has been given to enjoy in the pleasures and the beauty that she was made...
She does not deserve to be treated like a junk yard...
She was not given to us for our desires to kill and destroy...
She has so much to share with us...
To teach us of her beauty and the history of years gone passed of how she was born...
She can tell you how the volcano erupted and how the earthquake formed a masterpiece...
She can relax you by her still waters...
We get to watch her feed and nuture her children and her wildlife...
She needs us to come together in unity to help her thrive and survive...
Return to her the beauty that we have ripped away from her...
Let's return her stolen goods...

I love Canada, and I love America too, I freaking love North America, I feel blessed growing up here, I'm an immigrant from my beloved homeland of Trinidad and Tobago and I love the unique perspective that gives me on these great countries, America is a great inspiration for me and the great poets and writers who I have read and studied are mostly from America, and Canada as well... my idols, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers are from there as well, truly I see myself as an adopted American (without a cool accent like you all, Texan if possible) this is an awesome poem, Sparrowsong, you rock! tribute

My ancestors are German, Sweedish, Scottish, English, Italian and French Canadian...
The closest to me in distance is my Canada family and my American Family...
I haven't seen my family in a very long time...
They are forever in my heart...
If you listen to the Texas accent long enough...
You will pick it up quick I am sure...
Then you could be an adopted American Southern Canadian that talks Texan...
