Our Life Is In Memories Mind

You ask why- my dearest love
I don't enjoy taking pictures of time,
To cherish the stills of
Are youth and our youth,
But of course I do,
My eyes click capturing the moment,
All digital Pics saved in storerooms
Of a huge warehoused memory bank.
The greatest feature of
This aging adapted technology
Is imagination drawing fourth the images
Any time I see fit, sifting through mind
No buttons to push or
Batteries to replace,
Simply dust off the page and
Pull it from it's place.
I've installed backups
Strengthening the fortress
Upholding the sanity- I'll never forget,
When my love asks me,
"Do you remember when?"
I tell her in great vivid details
As my eyes shoot pictures of
That aging smile, If I could only
Prolong the technology to last a little while....
Longer.
