Our Light Dances On

She was in flight when he joined her.
His charming ways caused her to pause.
He built a fire by which she could dance-
Board by board he broke down walls.

The city leant it's lights by night fall.
He held her treasures fine.
She clasp his hand and led him-
In lover's passion he did dine.

They explored and crossed the bridge together!
Wounds from the past healed in united touch.
The depths and heights all exploding surprises!
Neither had ever felt so much.

Time played games of hide and seek.
Some moments, from the city lights they would hide.
Then, they would run,even from themselves!
To be continued due to pride.

............Longing for each other every hour-
Fate smiled one day on the street by choice!
They opened their hearts to one another's eyes-
He and she-began again. Their dance-found voice.

Just as she was content letting go......to stay.
The world came in-passion's collision to sever!
Ah, but the lover's souls had opened, and admitted love-
Therefore- let their shadows dance on hence, forever!
