Our Love

What am I supposed to do
When I’m without you?
It’s like asking how to
Breathe without oxygen.
Or asking an alcoholic
Not to drink.
I can’t be without you
Not now, not ever.
You and me
We belong.
We’re just like
Two peas in a pod.
You understand me
Better than even I do.
So if I ask you:
What am I supposed to do
When I’m without you?
Your answer should be:
Why are you without me?
