Our Love Story

I never thought this would happen to me,

That I would meet someone who makes me smile.

And who makes me as happy as can be.

I hope I can feel this way for a while.

My life has changed so much since that day,

When I met him and he promised to stay.

Since then he has changed my life,

And maybe someday he will let me be his wife.

The only thing in our way are those hundreds of miles,

But each day I write him a letter,

And those letters have turned into piles,

Because I have so much to thank him for since he made my life better.

All those hours I've spent I've spent Skyping, texting, and calling,

Have made me like him more and more and now I'm falling.

Falling in love with every single bit of who he is,

And someday I hope to be only his.
