Our New License Plates

We purchased a brand new Hyundai, some several week ago;
When we saw it on the car lot, we both adored it so!
Metallic Blue, and oh so spiffy, we love our nifty car;
It’s so easy to find when we park it, we can see it from afar!

They gave us temporary auto tags, that were good for just six weeks;
So, we went to the State Registry, for brand new ones to seek!
The day before, I started thinking, about something special we could do;
We could order customized ones, and honor our precious doggies too!

For fifty dollars extra, they let us designate our own;
We knew exactly what we wanted, to make our loved one’s names well known!
So, both their appellations, adorn our brand new plates;
The name on them is “NICODY”, our eternal dear soulmates!
