Our Perfect Day

A beautiful memory to always treasure 
 Is the one that’s brought me,the most happiness and pleasure 
I recall a pleasant feeling,of much anticipation 
​​​​​​ Caused by this,our wedding occasion 
On hearing gasps,as my bride made her way 
 This was going to be,a fabulous special day 
I turned to face her and nearly cried 
​​​​​​ My beauty filled my heart,with delight and pride 
We said our vows and register signed 
​​​​​​ Photos taken,feeling so refined 
Face is hurting from smiling all day 
​​​​​​ With happiness and love,never want it to go away 
Totally shaking,for the speech to be read
Notice the best man speech is longer,feeling a bit less dread
 Did the toasts of thanks,now longing for the chance 
To glide across the dance floor,for our first dance 
I love my wife with all of my heart
