Avalon
Your coast is mystical and so azure
It truly is a golden coast
The sunlight dapples the water 
As our ferry ship embarks
To take us to this lovely place
To spend a perfect day 
It has been over 30 years ago
Can life go by so fast?
We  laughed and talked, I even 
Liked those sandwiches you made
The ones with mustard on the peanut butter
I looked into your eyes noticing again how blue
How your smile lit up your entire face
How it made my life complete
I lived inside your eyes you know
I saw myself in you
The music at the concert hall  
It played John Tesh and all
We got to be on video that day 
Captured forever young
Now death has taken you so far away
But I will meet you there I say
