OUR WORLD

This world of ours could be wonderful if we try 
The lovely green fields and beautiful blue sky 
Instead people want to fight show who's boss
Don't know why this should be I'm at a loss 

The world of ours isn't so wonderful anymore 
Being destroyed by fascists who love a good war
Animals are still being hunted and killed too 
No longer roaming free in the sea so blue 

Not sure in my lifetime if the world will change 
The world of ours now is so busy and strange 
Peace and tranquility are two things I request 
Killing and bloodshed are two things I detest
