Poem -

our world

our world

as the night falls and the streetlights begin shine.
we think to our self I need to do a crime to pay for the meth that I love so fine.
We lurk the dark and scour empty parks for that earn to cool that itching burn.
As we try to make our earn although we know its hard to break our habit that has become my life..
The nerves kick in as I reach for my knife thinking to my self will I be strong enough to destroy yet another innocent life.
Some people are weak some people are strong but the others keep tagging along.
I turn to my brother with red in my eyes as we ponder and prepare how to reap our crystallised prize.
