Out in the cold

Someone comments what a beautiful night
Look at the stars, no clouds in sight.
You rummage for paper, or clothes someone threw
It might be beautiful, but it's cold for you.
As they can go home, get wrapped in a quilt
Tonight's no clouds means your strength will wilt.
You wonder if again hyperthermia will set in
How much of a rash will you get to your skin.
Will anyone notice and call you some help
Or is it tonight your fate will be dealt.
People look at your skin and think your on drugs
You lost your count now of all the shrugs.
Others suspect it's alcohol abuse
No believes you when you say you don't use.
They see you can't move and your now being sick
Instead of some help, they give you a kick.
They see your confused, that your having fits
And they don't help you, not even a bit.
They see your sweating and fainting too
They don't realise your cold because your not blue.
So people assume you are what your not
Instead of some help, some would rather your shot.
