Outcomes of Pain

My eyes, deeper than the sea,
Never just a single tear.
When it storms, it storms,
Fragments of my soul lying near.
Emptiness, a riddle to my pain,
A fear I am unable to solve.
My consciousness, I cannot regain,
I'm losing sight as I fall.
Washing over me, thousands of daggers,
Soaring straight for my heart.
An epiphany, pieces of a pattern,
Leading me back to the start.
Stepping stones, guiding me to a place,
Filled with love and light.
Finally running, opposite the chase,
I have found my will to fight.

I like the idea that pain is a puzzle with clues lying around you and waiting to be solved.....that is original ......I write a LOT about pain as it's an honest part of my life.....so I LOVE that creative bent to your thought process.....but what brought me fully "on board" is final line.....the positive strength inherent in that line makes for an excellent ending!!!.....ALL STARS!!.....well done HAILEY!!Ā .....and......WELCOME to COSMO!!........LOVE and ROCKETS!!......T xo ?āā“ā³
