Consider it fortunate

I've barred this rebuke

Detained a bitter retort.

'Caus my tongues full of poison

Sharp as a razor

And positioned to lash out.

No honey left on these lips

Only venom spews

Ripened retaliation.

Found me at a breaking point.

Incisive remarks

Reminds of each shortcoming.

Blood boils and veins protrude

Anger oozes forth

Melts my mind, its gone askew.

Lone reply ever the same

A hiss, I'm sorry

Rolls off a forked tongue again.
