‘Outta my mind’?

I can hear an eerie sound
As I contemplate going outside
It is ‘Blowin’-a -hooley
Persistently peein’ down,
I want to hide

The element’s are against me
I will look ‘Like a scadded cat!’
Even if I don my waterproofs
I’ll get ‘Soaked to the skin’ in that

So I will sit in solitude
Avoiding all my family
They will know what I am up to
Haha, they are well used of me

Squeezing situations from within my bemused brain
Some of which I’ve overdone time & time again

Whatever did I do before I started jotting ditties?
I must have spent alot of moments
Being ‘Sick as a parrot’
More the pitys

Well today I shall endeavour to 
scrutinize my thought tunnel
Then as usual, after my completions
I will stickem’ on ‘Cosmofunnel’

It’s summit to do
It’s also very therapeutic I find,
Should stop my aged brain from rusting up
So I won’t go ‘Outta my mind’
