Over & over again?

Over & over again?

Over & over again ?

Silently singing the same song in my head over & over again
This wouldn’t be so annoying
Tis 3 a.m. its driving me insane

I wouldn’t care its’s not even a good tune
The lyrics are pathetic
I heard it playing this afternoon
It’s as if my brains magnetic

I cannot erase this golden oldie
Even though I try my best
Its enough to make me mad
I’m feeling very stressed

So I go into the kitchen & make a cuppa tea
Tho I don’t mean to disturb him
My husband hears me

Well he joins me for a brew
Its only 4 o clock in the morning
We are both sleepless in the kitchen
Frustrated & yawning

I decide to play that dam track
That was locked in my brain
Thinking when I go back to bed
It will not bother me again

At long last we are tucked upΒ
Until the morning comes light
& Would you β€˜Adam & Eve’ it
I doze off & awake with a fright

I hear that flamin’ song again
But this time its actually Hubby’sΒ
din
Dammit hes put it back in my brain
I’m gonna hit him with a rolling pin??
