Poem -

Over the road

And then gone
Far away; out of reach.
He has done no wrong
But is burning his

Bridges to the ground.

Burning so hard, so bright,
But without me
And then gone

For he has done no wrong:
He has signed the peace
Treaty-signature and
Even stamped a date
On it- he has done no
Wrong?

But transcending out of
Stories and mouths of
Those closest to me-
I feel the furest away.

Isolated-wthout meaning.

I'll step back,
The hollow, hard mind
Whispers to me
But how far back
Can my soft, subtle heart go before
I have fallen

To far beyond
Reach?
