Overload

Overload

she sadly sees glimmers of all that is lost

not one single day goes by when she does not measure the cost

fear of life has issued her a jail for the winter

four walls and a door does not make her sinister

she has counted every tile on the abysmal ceiling

all the bullshit that has put her there is cause for appealing

time is slow and the food is not fit for a rat

days and nights go slow and her mind has gone flat

better to be here then to be dead

destroyed by the pain in my mind and from the bed

Love has not forgotten this girl

she will learn what makes life a pearl
