Owning my guilt

I've pointed at u in attempt to divert blame . I've cast light in your direction to avoid detection of my self induced shame.             I've pleaded excuse with no refrain.       I've created reason to partake time and time again.          I've warn your face of death to mask the truth.       I've hid in your shadow to avoid admitting guilts real chosen root.            I've enabled false control and named u the culprit.          I've  suffered the consequences while convincing the world they should have been yours not mine.                                       I've found dependency in your company and relief in your leave.                I've remained untruthfully  innocent in my decisions.          I've successfully personified u as reason for my felt or caused pain.                I've denied my involvement in the destruction we have dealt hand in hand.            I've evaded fault in my part of this crime . now i stand tall and own up to  the choices that were mine.                        Relationships destroyed diamonds and gold disappear.               My decisions all based on the grounds that u stay here.               The strength u had from the start was not yours alone but the result of being chosen by me to invade my home.            Did u hear that drugs I've made it plain and clear u have no power here.                U lived in my world thru only one option that defines itself as power of choice .              That power was always mine and in the end that power of choice gives me the ability to implement purpose with the rest of my time.                  Never EVER forget I CHOSE U not the other way around.          Now walk alone as I stride amongst the peace and love I have found.
