Clicking tongues; background music of little town lives.
Grey haired women with frizzy perms purse their Revlon-cracked lips around coffee mugs and say, “Oh my…” to all that’s changed.
The invention of tampons.
 Plugging vaginas that only want to bleed.
 A natural course,
denied.

One more way of solving what was never a problem.
Oh my. Sip. Sip. Click. Click.
