Pain

Tears streak down my cheeks, teeth clenched in a desperate attempt to contain a sob.

My heart throbs and I feel more disconnected than I ever have before. 

The pain burning hotter than a flame. Searing me from the inside out until there is nothing left. 

Nothing but a hollow empty shell... slowly disintegrating away...

Until there is nothing.
