Poem -

Scared

I stared at him through the cracks of my hair afraid he could see what I was thinking. By somehow reading my mind.

his lips moved as he talked and I couldn’t focus. My mind could only think about how badly I wanted to do something incredibly stupid.

His green eyes stared at me, and I thought I watched as he glimpsed at my lips.

I smiled and leaned forward I wasn’t afraid anymore. Because this is what I wanted.

Being Me

I stared at him through the cracks of my hair afraid he could see what I was thinking

I love this line. Such good imagery while also allowing the reader to feel what the poet is thinking. Well written x

The Scent swirls around him
pulling him down
Into her eyes
They're Chocolate
Ringed in the sea, encased By clouds
Silk hangs
Hiding her
Then
Showing her
He stretching out his hands
Brushing it
Away
A small gigle
Then he's pulled down
Lips like velvet
Sweet
Like a candy
Yet
This one
Is perfect
For his Sweet tooth
They sit there
Twined Together
Beaming
Lighting
All the dark crevices
in
Their
Souls
