Pain & Love
Those eyes, those embracing eyes,
That once held a passionate desire,
Turned to plummeting daggers of endless hope...
Piercing shattered remains of the heart... begging,
For sweet droplets of scarlet,
Amusing to senses how love can bring an array of emotions,
Including pain... sweet pain,
Passing glances of loves remains,
But with each heartbreak a lesson is learned,
The lesson is simple: love can cease a heart to beat.
And lust, a generic brand that inflicts the same carnage.

After two failed marriages, in which I basically wasted a total of 30 years of my life, Yesenia, I have very little use for the type of love one man shows to one special lady, and vice versa.
Oh sure, I love my seventeen-year-old Chihuahua, Gidget.
I adore my children.
I love my folks and my family.
But romantic love? I have no use for it.
Women have needs just as men do and if that "itch" needs scratching I am more than willing to bear my claws.
But, no strings attached.
No "I love you's" uttered after either; I don't wanna hear that bullsh!t.
Nice ink...
