Paint me a rainbow of all colours and hues

For troubled and sad days mix me with the blues

Spread the colour wildly to capture feeling mellow

Draw an overall shape tinted with bright golden yellow

Paint me, warmth that lingers on a beautiful sunny beach

Mix it well with orange and a little splash of peach

When the heart is hurt with envy, jealous and mean

Change the shades of summer to a colder winter green

 My heart sings with joy and absorbs all you have said

Then the rush of blood in my veins will cover me with red

Enjoy having fun, frolicking, full of laughter

I think purple would the colour you are after

The hues that tint and give me depth to light

Like a cool evening mist, must be black and white
