Painted Hills

Dedicated to the Green Mountain State of Vermont

Looking out the window, what do I see,
a wall of  capitive beauty,
looking back at me!

Spring
With it's re-born luster, a must see vista.
Twenty shades of green,
Crayola, help me please!

Summer,
The curtain has raised,
"let the show begin"
Trees of great stature,
stars of the sky.
Shiny emeralds so bright; reflecting suns light. 

Fall
The prettiest of  them all!
Visions of color, dance upon my eyes.
Radiating shades,
Red, yellow and green!

They come from afar, with cameras they flock,
to capture that, perfect
shot.

Winter
Crystal trees, covered fields of ice and snow.
Twinkle in the dawns morning light!

Full moon rising, 
cast, silhouettes across the glass.
