Alive in a parallel world of insanity,
an obscured mystical land of uncertainty.
Fairies , monsters spirits my neighbours
living in harmony in this slumberland .
I perceive them strolling around ,
gazing straight into my weary eyes.
Inviting me to visit the forbidden
land,with their wide glowing ogle .
Hearing fairies voices in my alcove,
simultaneously monsters ordering ,
to pick up the knife to kill myself,
or scaring me in my deep siesta .
Confused in this maze,unable to
move my body ,here i stand like
a wax statue ,unclad ,speaking a word
salad , comprehensible to no earthlings.
Still relishing the sweet brine on my tongue,
Engrossed in the fragrance of a wild floret
Paranoid about the existence of you and they,
withdrawn deep into a delusional phase .
Submerged in my ocean of thoughts,brain
inducing ,millions of vivid wild apprehensions.
Unable to cope this dysphoria in clumsiness,
brawling for a porthole to escape from this asphyxiation.

Poetess Cum Story writer, Piusha Singh, ( I should highlight her in view of her recent winning of the April month's story contest ) her strength lies in using very simple words to covey the sensible and in-depth meaning of the verse lines throughout her writing, both in prose and poem. She maintains a smooth rhythm, style and pattern in this poem titled as " PARALLEL WORLD ". And the criteria for any true creativity of ART or Literature, whether a poem or story is its simplicity and presentation style, which she possess more than enough. Thnxxx William for your kind support,I am glad to know that you liked it.This is Poem is about Schizophrenic psychosis ,where they live in delusion which is their reality and constantly they struggle till the end ,probably most of the time leading to suicide if not diagnosed early.Many kids will be born with Schizophrenic psychosis...And its really heart breaking to see them struggling between our reality and their reality.

Lol William,never wish that,hope for pink health which is not a boon for many .Yes i work as a RN in geriatric care at the moment ,may change that too in future as change is inevitable....But I enjoy everything given in my life..and never stick to one thing, always on a quest,I enjoy painting,recently explored writing and poetry.A born singer,taking training in opera,here in portlaoise,I want to explore and always want to see the growth in me.writing is an ever growing field which I am enjoying most .....I never spoke about me in public,this is the first time I am talking about myself lol...
