Poem -

Paranoia

I’ve always kept my circle small, the friends I do have trust me I love them all. Loyalty is hard to find these days. People used to tell me my trust issues would be a phase, but it’s now 2018 and I’m still stuck in my ways. I’ve just come across too many snakes for me to risk making anymore mistakes.

When I’m with someone I keep my eyes wide open and I pay attention to very word they have spoken. This way if they double cross me I’ll know exactly where they went wrong. I’m just not the type of person you can string along.

That's good, Brandan.
Now if you can just stay the way you are now you'll be able to breeze through life without any problem what so ever.
Whatever you do, though, never--and I DO mean NEVER!--fall in love.
Well penned...
