Passion

Passion

I have been drained of the passion

That kept this war going

This deceiving life

Has found it’s prey

I’ve been disillusioned this whole time

For which side I was truly fighting for

when the day came

I thought I would survive

The perks of life, have fallen under

Yet again

But still the washed-out casualties

Lay dead on battlefield

The war has been lost

Without a doubt

but still we wield

The heart they leave with out

Yet again

Hey PIERCE!!....I can feel the anger and disillusionment in this piece...... but I Love the Title in conjunction with the picture you chose...... that rainbow of hope....... this is VERY compelling poetic prose.......... and I think the majority of people will relate wholeheartedly to its intent........ well conceived and delivered.........ALL STARS!......... and........
