Passionessence: Passion Mark

Cuddle,
Your touch,
I can sense you,
I hear your heartbeat:

Gently move I you,
Guiding past your smile,
As I stroke your hair softly,
Planting kisses on your smooth lips,
Your cheeks, your head;
There is an acceleration of rate,
Your heartbeat has increased,
As has mine, love,
So we lay there now,
Looking at each other with inches between,
Holding hands, and just gleaming one another,
With a soft hand, I draw you close,
Nosing your neck again as you giggle,
Yet you lay still, holding onto me,
As I gently bestow a kiss,
Then a small nibble, you know,
The unspoken taboo of a romantic action;
Yet, each time, the bite is a little sharper,
Not so much for the pain, which upon me,
Care I not to feel it, yet loving it,
But for its presence in romance,
Be it the mark upon thee;
Warm, carefully put upon you,
Ours in secret,
Obscured in public,
Enjoyed in confidence,
Shunned in open conversation;
And I laugh as she tries to hide it,
Saying only,
"Dear love, you made no fuss,
When th' mark was indeed being made;"
e love:
