Past - Times

I was sixteen again only I'm seventy five now,
nineteen sixty, showed them my phone - they said: 'How?'
I said that you will learn in due course, won't they -
more baffled when I said that I bought it on e-bay.
I showed them pictures of men on the moon,
they said it must be fake, maybe it might have been,
the flag moved but there was no wind there,
oh well, nine years later they can judge for themselves.
I told them that there would be a middle eastern war,
they said, can't we get the guy before he starts his tour,
I said, no - you can not change the events of history,
everything is pre-destined, you must believe me.
They didn't - they were running around asking names,
worried about the man from the future playing games.
