Poem -

Patience

I'm waiting.
Waiting for you to walk through that door, Greet me with your arms in the sweetest embrace.
Your hair in a matted lump and your nose blushing.

I'm waiting.
Waiting for you to say my name, so I can feel golden again.
So, I can feel something again.

I'm waiting.
Waiting for you to creep into bed, a mix of toothpaste and your day on your face.Ready for me to relieve you.

My sweetheart. My love.
I'll wait.
