Patience Is A Virtue

Patience Is A Virtue

God give me the patience of an old fisherman,

Whose gnarled, weary hands keep holding on to the line.

In our frenzied modern world so few understand,

The value of just being in the moment like

An experienced, wise sage: who lets the world slowly

Reveal itself. The silver darlings of the sea

Will arrive in good time. This the fisherman knows

In his bones. Within him, an inner light still glows.

Thanks Jim...I keep trying to nurture my inner light, not always successfully, but I'm gradually getting there...ha,ha!

It beautifully expressed the idea of how being busy, rushing and missing the little nuances of life, the spectacular moments passed, unseen, unlived unless you slow down and enjoy the moment your in, like a wise, old fisherman!
