AT PEACE WITH MYSELF

AT PEACE WITH MYSELF
I am at peace with myself
As this day comes to a close
I've uprooted the thorns
And planted some roses.
I've extended my hands
In a jesture of peace
I've rejected hate
And love was released.
An honest day's work
With joy I pro formed 
In harms way I stood 
Keeping my brother from harm.
Now as I recline in my bed
Reflecting on the day that I had
My heart is overwhelmed 
And I am at peace with myself.
