PEEK A BOO

PEEK A BOO

Where are you little child of mineĀ
We've been playing peek a boo from just after nineĀ
You have found a real good hiding placeĀ
I can't find you child or see your faceĀ

I look behind the settee and the tall chairĀ
To my surprise and wonder you are not hidden thereĀ
I then go upstairs and look behind the bedĀ
You have a difficult hiding place it has to be saidĀ

So outside I go and look behind the wall
That's when I notice legs dangling so small
Peek a boo daddy is what you sayĀ
I'm so pleased you've found me today
