PEN AND PAPER

Give me a pen and some paper, 
let me go,
I will pen my thoughts,

and state my words, 
I will weave a story, 
like you have never heard,

I will dot, my I's and cross my T's,
I will punctuate, and exaggerate,
my pen ran out of ink, 
my paper is gone 

it's time to go,
it was nice taking with you see you soon,
another day another time,
I won't forget to make it rhyme.
